Meet Our Church Leaders
Pastor Christie Cooling
Christie joined the ministry team at Eaton Road Church of God in September of 2020. Her desire is to serve God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength. She has been volunteering in ministry for over twenty-five years with infants, children, youth, and women. Growing up in a broken home allowed her to see the need for connection within the family and connection within the church. When she became a follower of Christ, she began to learn and understand the true meaning of commitment. Christie has been married to her husband, John, since 1990. They have been blessed with three children (Samantha, Jessica, and Jared) and one son-in-law (Josh). She enjoys spending time with family, listening to Christian music, and growing closer to God by reading the Bible and living in His Presence. She believes the more you get into God’s Word, the more God’s Word gets into you.
Worship Leader Jeff Peterson
Jeff grew up going to church with his family. His grandfather was a minister. His dad was a deacon in the church he grew up in where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized. His love for music and technical things led him to study and develop both music and technical skills. Jeff has been married to his wife, Debi, since 1976. Their marriage bore one son, Joshua. Jeff was a member of the praise bands of Eaton Road Church of God for several years before accepting the position as the Worship Leader. His previous years serving with two previous music leaders, as well as previous churches and music studies with numerous mentors, has prepared him for his service at Eaton Road Church of God. His music ministry is dedicated to leading the congregation each week in praise and worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
